Co-facilitated by Ruth Lanius, MD, PhD and Tina Stromsted, PhD, LMFT, Jungian Analyst
Join us August 30 – September 3, 2027 for a journey into pioneering neuroscience and embodied wisdom, exploring the intricate connections among mind, brain, body, soul, community, and nature.
In this retreat, Drs. Lanius and Stromsted will weave neuroscience, trauma-informed somatic approaches, Active Imagination in movement, art, and writing. We will complement this with dream work, poetry, and elements of Marion Woodman’s BodySoul® approach in an experiential exploration of healing, creativity, meaning, and embodied presence.
Together, we will draw on cutting-edge neuroscience and embodied approaches to deepen our capacity for inner stillness, presence, vitality, and connection. We will listen to the wisdom of the body and explore what emerges when we create space for the fullness of who we are within a supportive community.
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Newfoundland, where whales, puffins, and moose live and thrive. Experience bright starry nights, the rhythm of ocean waves gently rocking the shore, and the profound restorative power of nature.
Come slow down, reconnect with yourself and others, and discover what becomes possible when neuroscience meets the deep wisdom of the body, soul, and the natural world.
