In this special online event, Jungian analyst and dance/somatic movement therapist Dr. Tina Stromsted introduces key elements of her Soul’s Body® approach from her new book, engaging the body–psyche–spirit connection in psychotherapeutic work. Drawing from core principles and compelling case material, she will highlight multidisciplinary concepts, therapeutic techniques, and trauma-informed practices that support embodied healing.

Tina’s work expands Authentic Movement, rooted in Jung’s Active Imagination, into a range of creative somatic practices in depth and body-oriented psychotherapy. Soul’s Body® cultivates deeper self-awareness through bodily expression, dreamwork, creative imagination, empathic relationship, community engagement, and our connection with nature.

Following an overview, we’ll engage in a brief guided movement exploration, followed by Q&A and community conversation.

This event is designed for Jungian analysts, psychotherapists, somatic movement practitioners, healthcare/healing professionals, dancers, bodyworkers, creative arts therapists, students, and spiritual practitioners interested in Jungian depth work, somatic/movement approaches, and embodied spirituality. Drawing on 45 years of clinical experience and decades of collaborations with pioneers such as Joan Chodorow, Marion Woodman, Janet Adler, Stanley Keleman, and Donald Kalsched, Tina invites an inspiring journey into conscious, creative embodiment.

Her book, Soul’s Body®, is a rich resource for those drawn to Jungian depth work, somatic/movement practices, embodied spirituality, and cultivating a vital, meaningful life.
