Fairy tales, with their rich symbols and metaphors, reveal timeless truths about the human journey. They speak to our struggles and our resilience—starting a journey, losing our way, facing betrayal or abandonment, and finding renewal through transformation.

In this day-long workshop, we will explore The Handless Maiden.  This tale embodies the archetypal path from oppression to liberation, from wounded child to whole woman, and from poverty to empowered creator. This story also reflects the essential role of the masculine—the father, the masculine shadow, and the young King—whose own trials shape the sacred union at the end of the tale.

Together, we will bring the story to life, reflect on its central themes, and engage in embodied creative practices that deepen understanding and foster integration. The focus will be on the journey of the disempowered feminine in all of us, and how the union of feminine and masculine energies supports resilience, creativity, and healing.
