Dr. Stromsted will be a featured presenter at the Jung on the Hudson Summer Conference: The Pitfalls of Perfection, held live via Zoom from July 20–24, 2025.

How can we raise awareness about the traps of perfectionism and find ways to recover from them?

Renowned Jungian analyst Marion Woodman expressed this sentiment so beautifully:

“To love the juicy side of life [is] being a human being who loves being in the body, who loves to see the glory of spring, to hear the glory of the birds, to taste the glory of good food, to live the sexuality, to know what it is to be human and love it… instead of trying to be a spirit…with the body as an empty shell.”

During this illuminating seminar, Dr. Stromsted will guide participants on a journey back to their essential humanity—tapping into the wisdom of the body as a source of insight and renewal.

Through embodied Active Imagination, participants will delve beyond dry, barren spaces shaped by the perfectionistic voice of the inner critic and discover the rich, untapped potential waiting to be reclaimed.

Other presentations will include inspiring offerings by noted analysts and authors:
James Hollis, PhD – Keynote
Dennis Patrick Slattery, PhD
Ann Ulanov,  MDiv, PhD,
Morgan Stebbins, MDiv, LMSW, DMin, LP
